Examination Fees
Pearson VUE administers Digital Marketing Institute computer based exams via its global network of test centers. The initial examination fee is included in your fee but will be payable directly to Pearson if you need to retake your examination outside the original course period.
Cooling Off Period
A learner may express their right to delay their purchase via email. On this expression learners registration with NKDigital will be suspended. When a learner is to re-join the course the full amount paid is applicable but the learner is liable for payment of any course increase during the suspension period or another course is chosen.
Any part payments are non-refundable.
Once the Program has been accessed by a student, this is indication of use of service and express acceptance of the above terms and conditions, and as a result no refunds will be issued at that point as it negates the cooling off period.
Payments Terms For Learners
Entry Level Courses
All payments are non-refundable but the learner can delay their attendance to the next available course and up to max of 12 months if paid in USD.
Foundation, Professional Diploma and Specialized Diploma Courses
Learners will be granted access to online content once course fees have been paid in full or the first instalment is paid.
Start date
Early access to your online programme is granted once the course fee is paid. Your official start date, however, is the 1st day of the month following payment, regardless of when the course is first accessed.
For example
If you pay on any date in April 2019, your official start date is May 1st, 2019. If you pay on any date in May 2019, your official start date is June 1st, 2019.
Validity of Invoices
An invoice issued for DMI certified course by the NKDigital is valid for a 7 day period from the date of issue if issued in USD, and 24 hrs for the ZWL invoices. NKDigital reserves the right to withdraw an invoice without notice.
Live Lecture Courses
When the minimum numbers of students have not been enrolled, students will be enrolled into the online study mode with the refund available on a difference in the price only.
In case of government declared lock downs, force majeure or other major disturbances that would cause the closure of the training facility during the duration of the lecture courses, the lessons will continue online via Zoom / Meets at the same times.
Subscription Holders
Subscription holders agree to pay the monthly, annual, or course fee specified when you purchase a Subscription. Depending on where you transact with us, the type of payment method used, and where your payment method was issued, your transaction with us may be subject to foreign exchange fees or differences in prices because of exchange rates and other geographic-specific pricing. Any agreement you have with your payment provider will govern your use of your specified payment method. Your failure to terminate and/or continued use of your Subscription reaffirms that we are authorized to charge you for that Subscription. This does not waive our right to seek payment directly from you.
Billing for Subscription Holders
You may be asked to provide a credit, charge or debit card number from a card issuer that we accept in order to activate your Subscription – your authorizations in this section also apply to our payment processor and any other company who acts as a billing agent for us. You hereby authorize us to charge your specified payment method on a monthly or annual basis, in advance, for recurring Subscriptions, and to charge in advance for any course based or other subscription models, and/or to place a hold on your payment method with respect to any unpaid charges for Subscriptions. You authorize the issuer of your selected payment method to pay any amounts described herein without requiring a signed receipt. You authorize us to continue to attempt to charge and/or place holds with respect to all sums described herein, or any portion thereof, to your payment method until such amounts are paid in full. You agree to provide updated payment information upon request and any time the information you previously provided is no longer valid. You acknowledge and agree that NKDigital or Digital Marketing Institute, will not have any liability whatsoever for any insufficient funds or other charges incurred by you as a result of attempts to charge, and/or place holds on, your specified payment method as contemplated by these Terms.
You agree to pay us, through our payment processors, all charges at the prices then in effect for any purchase in accordance with the applicable payment terms presented to you at the time of purchase. You agree to make payment using the payment method you provide when you sign up for a Subscription. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct our payment processor or financing partner to correct, any errors or mistakes, even if payment has already been requested or received.
Termination
On failure of your agreed subscription payment we will attempt to charge your card a further 2 times. On failure of the third attempt we will proceed to cancel your subscription and you will no longer have access to our services. Service will only be reinstated on payment of remaining annual balance upfront.
Leave Of Absence
A Leave of absence may be accommodated for learners in extenuating circumstances to an initial maximum period of 3 months and are accommodated at the discretion of the Digital Marketing Institute and not NKDigital.
Refusal
NKDigital reserves the right to refuse tuition fees and reserves the right to deny any applications.
(Not the) Small Print
Access to all courses and materials on this site is valid exclusively for the registered student and neither my log-in details nor course materials, that are under copywrite licence protection, will be shared or utilized in any unauthorized way by myself or any other individual(s)/companies/organisation for commercial, educational or other purposes.
Breach of the T&Cs may result in discontinuation of the course participation with no refunds available and legal action as applicable.
Data and Information usage
Basic registration and course completion details will be utilized by NK Digital on its student Alumni website page and associated social media pages except when a specific non-agreement instruction is given in writing to [email protected]
